HARRISBURG – To offer residents of the 82nd District who live in Franklin County more convenient access to the services his office provides, Rep.-elect John Hershey (R-Franklin/Juniata/Mifflin) has opened an office at 1270 Crottlestown Road, Hamilton Township Complex, Chambersburg.

“Providing in-person access to all residents, without them having to drive for hours to my office, is one of my top priorities, so I am thankful to be opening the Franklin County office,” Hershey said. “Of course, residents will also be able to find me at events in their area. I will be hosting town hall meetings across the district, so stay tuned for announcements about those.”

Residents are encouraged to visit or call the office at (717) 263-1053 Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Hershey will host an open house at the new Franklin County district office in the New Year. More information will be shared when it is available.

The 82nd District includes the townships of Beale, Bratton, Delaware, Derry, Fannett, Fayette, Fermanagh, Granville, Greenwood, Lack, Menno, Metal, Milford, Monroe, Oliver, Spruce Hill, St. Thomas, Susquehanna, Turbett, Tuscarora and Walker; as well as the boroughs of Burnham, Juniata Terrace, Lewistown, McVeytown, Mifflin, Mifflintown, Port Royal and Thompsontown.
