HARRISBURG – Rep. John Hershey (R-Franklin/Juniata/Mifflin) will host a town hall meeting to provide information for constituents on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 7-8 p.m. at the St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Hall, 34 School House Road, St. Thomas.

“I look forward to sharing an update from Harrisburg about the issues affecting the Commonwealth and the status of the state budget,” Hershey said. “Of course, the meeting will also be a great time for constituents to share their concerns with me.”

RSVPs are not required, but residents are encouraged to call the Mifflintown district office at (717) 436-6001 with any questions.

Before the town hall meeting begins, an update about issues facing the firefighter and first responder communities will be provided to the public at 6:30 p.m. It will include information about a report focused on recruitment and retention challenges that, if unresolved, are likely to result in slower service or higher costs to residents.
