HARRISBURG – Because of concerns about COVD-19, commonly called coronavirus, Rep. John Hershey (R-Juniata/Mifflin/Franklin) has postponed a seminar planned for Saturday, March 21.
State and federal health officials have issued guidance that people should avoid large gatherings in an effort to limit the virus’ spread. Those at greatest risk of serious complications from the disease are senior citizens and people with compromised immune systems.
The March 21 town hall was to be focused on firearms laws and concealed carry permits.
“I hope to again offer this event when coronavirus is better under control. In the meantime, those with questions about Pennsylvania’s laws can call my district office at 717-436-6001,” Hershey said.
